but the Jews at the time were practicing things that are out side of Judaism and many went astray that's why god sent another prophet to remind them of the word of god but AGAIN they didn't believe in him!!!

both!! Jesus and moses (pbut) suffered with the Israelites they were very rebellious.
also Muhammad (pbuh) suffered a lot from the Jews, there were many attempts to kill him many times by some bad Jews!!

But it was Constantine who convoked the council of Nicaea in which they voted on Christ's divinity, Mary's virginity, voted to seperate Easter from passover and essentially made Chrisianity more than just a ragtag bunch of worshippers.

Jesus then I would say Constantine in 325 AD
Then perhaps Martin Luther in 1483
then Henry VIII in 1534

Christian I beleive means - 'anointed one', this name wasnt used untill after Christ died. We centre our religion on Jesus, this is why the name.

But yes, God is the founder of our faith, the same as the Jews, but sadly, the Jews rejected Jesus, because they misinterpreted the scripture.

Daniel 9 helps explain this. Goto my link if you do not understand Daniel 8 & 9.
