Does any one know whats the cause of having the tips of your fingers get hot all of a sudden?

why does this occur, should it be checked,

That depends, are you touching someone you really like when it happens.... then im sorry to inform you that you are in love, and there is no cure.

The other thought that comes to mind is that you should go to the doctor and be tested for diabetes and high blood pressure, also a kidney/liver function test would be a good idea too.

Diabetes, arthritis, carpal tunnel , or nerve damage. Definately get it checked.
