Yes, that is true. But there are not many of them. They would be the ones that are appropriate for become firefighters. This entire idea of lowering firefighter standards for so as not to "discriminate" against women seems a bit silly. The standards used to be that the applicant had to be able to carry a 250 pound man out of a burning building. Now, so as not to "discriminate" the standards are lowered and the 250 pound victim burns to death instead of being rescued. Go figure.
