Bring up the subject maybe in a subtle way, like leave a magazine on the table, watch movies with a marriage in them, stuff like that.

How long have you been together? Maybe he is just not ready for marriage yet or your relationship is too new. Have you even told him that you love him and does he return your feelings?
If you have been together for sometime and you have shared your love then I think you can always propose to him yourself.
But to answer your question. You can only ask him to marry, you can't get him to marry you. Good luck!

If you mention the words "marriage, commitment or parents" he'll freal out ... a guy needs sometime to get it in his head that he loves someone & he wants her for life. I'd say take a step back, don't see him for 2-3 days ..... let him miss you ... he may not prupose, but it'll start him thinking about having you in his life forever!

and where from did u get impression that legal marriage improves love? i really don't understand what for women need to get married. u think u will chain him to yourself? no dear, u won't. if he meets someon e better he leaves u whether u re married or not. so better enjoy the moment now. if he thinks u re the one he will propose. if he doesn't think u re the one - how will u make him? so no use of proposing first.

Whoa, bridezilla! Who is this guy? Is he someone you know intimately or just a bloke you see on the bus in the morning on your way to work??? If he's the latter then I'd suggest you back off or you may find he slaps you with a restraining order. It's happened to me. I know what I'm talking about

I was under the impression that since women have fought for equality and to a greater extent now have it - why are we still getting thse sort of questions???
If you are both of the same opinion of one another then why don't you initiate the question?

Toooooo keen!!! Put the brakes on yourself, otherwise he will run a mile! Enjoy what you have and take it one step at a time, otherwise you will end up being used. I get the impression that you have been hurt badly before??

Well it sounds like your the one who wants to get married no matter what so get pregnant and then ask him to marry you because it sounds like you are not willing to wait so entrapment looks like the only way at this time

Don't rush him, you really have to know him better and see the signs if he wants to marry you 'cause if you don't see that sign what's the point of being in that relationship.
