if I remove (quick Time) will I lose my clips

Its simply telling you that your burner isnt capable of burning that typer of disk! As someone else stated, there are two types of dvd blanks, dvd-r and dvd+r. Use the dvd-r, secondly, there are currently no less than 12 different dvd formats! If your burner doesnt support a particular type then you are screwed unless you change the format to one your burner understands! Lastly, dont buy the offbrand dvd blanks! 30 percent of them are duds!

There are two common types of DVD media. There is the ( + ) and the ( - ). Perhaps your burner is not a dual burner. You need to look at the face-plate of your burner and find the right symbol either ( + or - ). It sounds like you purchased the wrong type of disc.

u wont loose your clips
just wont open with quicktime
most dvd burners are + and - ,
dual layer means nothing
chances are there not dvd format your trying to burn..
