Try, try, try, and keep on trying. Some people are what are called 'late developers', you may not have much success now but it will be better for you in the future if you try even just a little bit harder now.
My teachers always used to write on my school reports - ''Should try harder'' and I never really understood what that meant. I used to think that if I didn't understand or couldn't do something then what was the point. And what did ''Try harder'' mean? It means, if you study for 1 hour, then give it an extra ten or twenty minutes. If you read two or three pages of a text book, then read those two or three pages a couple of times more. Whatever you do, don't give up. It will come, and eventually good things will start happening for you.

There are many ways to define richness, success, and all the other things we humans seek. improving yourself is something that you are always doing. As mentioned by a lot of people in aswer to this question, giving up is the first step towards failure. OF course, not all of us have done the super heroic things like seen on TV, but we can make a difference in ours and other peoples lives.
Never give up. Even if you fail (all of us did, do, and will), you can at least put your head up hi and say proudly, "I did my best, and I am not ashamed of my effort."
The only failure is failing to try

You are not giving yourself enough credit great things don't have to be world changing events, they can be small kindnesses. Make someone smile, lend a hand to someone that needs help, be the best person you can, these are all great deeds.

Hon, the world is made of people just like you doing their *average* best each and everyday, amking a difference that only those who they come into contact with know about.
You just keep on doing what you are doing even though it isn't earth shattering it's people like you who make this world a wonderful place to be in. Your real.

I don't fully understand the question, but if your talking about in terms of 'working for God'
Then you shouldn't give up, do your best. Start small... Try saving people who are unconverted in your own family, circle of friends, or even your neighbours. Pray alot before you attempt to do any of these things, remember the key is always Jesus Christ.

You may be expecting too much from yourself. You don't need to be able to do Super things to continue your life. So what if your efforts result in average outcomes? You don't need to show off to be able to make a difference in the world. Do what you can and let your intents shine for themselves.
