Hardly. My religion requires an open mind. Some people are close minded, religious or not. Some religions tend to populate more close-mindedness than others, but you'll find open-minded and close-minded people in every group, regardless of religious beliefs. You can find some extremely close-minded atheist scientists as well as some extremely open-minded Christians.

For example, you're rather close-minded yourself, by putting all religions together in the same close-minded box and implying they're all stupid and that anyone who has religion can't think outside the box. Ever consider that? Probably not, but most close-minded individuals never see their own flaws.

You've been watching to much TV lately my boy.

Granted some religions are very single minded and will brook no other but for the most part religions, being a man made thing unlike what Jesus proclaimed you have to expect that.

I have had friends in all demoninations and religious backgrounds including Judeaism and Islam and they as well as Christianity have good and valid points.

All this hullabaloo is just pure nonsense and people need to step back and take a breath.

By saying that, you're just proving yourself to be closed-minded and not thinking out of the box.

That said, a closed or open mind has got nothing much to do with religion. Everyone is different.

Don't you think you are being closed minded. You probably haven't done any research to back up your theory.
The truth is that it can open your mind to concepts you have never even fathomed. Or a way of lifem you always dreamt of but didn't think could be possible.

Most religions are religions...Islam is a Deen, which is different...its a whole way of life. From sleeping, eating, brushing your teeth, love, dealing with enemies and oppression. Tells you how to live in Harmony and imposes restrictions on you to teach your heart patience, prayer to teach consistency, etc....
I know this sounds surreal to you, or I sound maybe crazy, but I am in love, I love this beautiful life, and I love beautiful God.

Peace

Well, I was brought up living on the edge of the box with an ability to look in and look outwards
Faith is nothing more than having an open heart

When your heart is open you'll love yourself, others and God-as one

Your mind has nothing to do with being open or closed, love is found in the heart but your way of living and thinking can effect how you open your heart, or close it up to all the wonders in the world

i agree with u there. Christina's have become very closed minded. and hell I'm a christian Lol. but i do think outside the box. unlike most i realize that the bible was written by man there for can't be perfect and that it has errors. and unlike most Christians i don't believe in if your not saved your going to hell. one sinner judging another is just off the wall in my eyes. and pastors will tell u, u shouldn't judge but then after telling u he begins his sermon with how another religion is wrong lol.

That is not true many religious people have wonderful minds and are free thinkers. The powers behind religions are the ones with closed small minds, power corrupts even those who believe themselves incorruptible.
