Write an autobiography. Even if not published, a permanent record of it will remain at the copyright office. Look what happened to Anne Frank and her diary! Also, create your own crafts or paintings and sell them. Consider the story of the Taj Mahal left behind for a beloved wife. It has become famous and holds the memory of the one who commissioned it. You may become famous for your artistic skills. Children are also a good legacy to leave to the world. Thoughtful acts of kindness can be remembered forever. Look at what happened with Princess Diana. Keep a blog on the internet that will be there after you're gone. I hope this helps!

No one is an ordinary person. Everybody is special in their own ways and means. You don't have to become a famous person to be noticed and remembered. A lot of simple people are remembered for their simple deeds, long after they are gone. So if you have lived a good life, did all the good things and made everyone happy then you will be noticed and remembered by your family, friends and relatives and by all the people who know you.

All men are equal and each individual has his own and glorious mission before God.
What is reputation? Do you know who is the King of Egypt in the time of Zoroaster? Do you know who is the wisest man in India a hundred years ago? Do you know who is the greatest architect in the world now?
If you keep on putting meaningless questions and giving funny answers here, many people may remember you, but what is the use of that? And reputation is so lousy that most people don't put their real names on this page.
Only the One True God is worth to be remebered. And He promises to remember any man who remembers Him.
Please learn to know about your mission in the teachings of the most recent monotheistic religon: the Baha'i Faith.

you also have to take into consideration that when that one tiny drop of water hits the ocean, a ripple effect takes place, and that tiny drop effects other drops for a very long ways. I'm an average girl but I figure that if I try to be a good person and kind to others that my positive attitude will in turn inspire others to be positive as well... and those will inspire more.

Over time, those who seem to have achieved "immortality" will fall to the wayside. And one drop of water in the ocean has an effect on the entire ocean. You have just been noticed. Great or small, immortal or forgettable, we are all part of one, and we all matter equally.

Unfortunately we will be forgotten soon after we are gone. But as long as we live we have the power to be remembered and make a difference in peoples lives.

"It's said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's
wing can cause a typhoon half way across the world....."
...why do we need immortality? it seems that all we really need is something to be enthusiastic about...

God notices everyone and everything . He is all knowing. So why is it so important for you to have human recognition. It is not any recognition of man that will get you into the Kingdom
