I so agree with you because cats are intelligent and sensitive and can be v. emotional and men just don't know how to love them and look after them properly ;)

Well, there is the saying that Diamonds are a girl's best friend... but in terms of living things, I would go for both cats and dogs. I love my cat, he makes my day when I come home from work. Thanks for asking, and - enjoy!

Nope, NO WAY!!! My dogs are WAY better at protecting me than any cat EVER could. I go for long walks and always have my dogs with me, no one would EVER think to kidnap/rape/mug/murder etc me, not to mention by just having a dog in the house keeps the burglars out.
Cats stink. If you are pregnant, you can't change the litter. They claw up the furniture, they smell, they have a brain the size of a pea and can make some people very sick.
No, cats are NOT THIS woman's best friend.

I disagree. I'm a girl and to me, dog's are my best friend. The sayings are just sayings. I love dogs and always had one ever since I was born.

I disagree. I had a cat actually two cats when I was a kid and my sister hated them and they hated her. On the other hand those felines loved my brother and I. I think a cat's best friend is one who feeds it from time to time

not all women like cats. i do, but i don't agree with the "expression". it actually goes "dogs are mans best friend, diamonds are womans best friend".

i disagree i have a number of dos that i show and a cat that i rescued from the pound ,she is loving both towards my husband and i BUT,she does tend to sleep on me every night which is annoying she wont go to my husband only because she has to sleep with our twelve year old dog as well and he sleeps between our pillows cats only come around really when they want to be fed or go to sleep in a warm enviroment

I disagree unless I am destined to be friendless. I am allergic to cats and I love dogs a whole lot more anyways. My sister and my best friend love cats though. Maybe it's just me. hmmm.......

Ew, disagree. they look to imagine its is their god given proper to go back and dump in my backyard, and they shred each and each of the garbage luggage even as they get placed out for the bin men, each and each of how up the streets, searching for and ingesting inspite of putrid meat they could discover. They walk round outdoors then bypass and bounce onto kitchen worktops spreading more effective micro organism. they convey useless issues into houses. they each now and then sneak into different peoples houses and go away hair (that got here about to us). Il keep on with my budgies.

I completely agree with you, my cat keeps me alive, i actually tell him things that i cannot tell anyone else, i can hug him , kiss him when i need some affection, he makes me feel needed and loved and missed when i get back from work. Go get yourself a kitty :)
