Male grooming is very imortant.
They don't have to be high maintenance, but have at least the basics.
Shower daily, groomed hair, shaved face, trimmed nails, clothes that fit, someone that looks like they stay in shape, & excersize.
Yes, I really pay attention to people that take care of themselves. I can't help noticing them because they look good.
But if guys look prettier than me, that's where I draw the line. If they get their eyebrows waxed more often than I do, then that's a problem. If they go to the gym everyday, paint their nails w/colors, or go shopping more than I do... I can't compete.
Also guys who can't have ice-cream, or some junkfood because they are on a strict diet are too health freakish to me... I can't hang with that. They have to be a little more real.
Oh, & someone who buys too many gadgets but never end up using it after they get bored of it, because they are Metro Sexual & have to have it just because. . .
And guys who are constantly on their phone, or have their phone ringing every 5 min. is so annoying. Nobody wants to spend time with someone who has to let the whole world know that they're so busy. Let the phone ring; if it's important they'll leave a message.
Oh yeah, the guys who have a BlueTooth growing out of their ears; it's not natural!

Grooming is important because it will also reflect the guy's personality. If he care enough to maintain hygiene and cleaN then i can say that person can take care of himself. And may as well be good in taking good care of other people. Imagine a guy coming in a room,untidy..what is your first impression? The fact that just with the looks we start to give that person rate..right? But i dont mean that it is everything..because what matters most is the personality. The thing is..guys (and also girls) should learn the basic hygiene and may as well practice good grooming. It is like when you are shopping for a dress..you won't buy the one dirty and odd looking..you will go for the one that is well presented &well manufactured.Hope this helps. God bless!

I pay attention to it in a big way. No unkempt and dirty finger nails, definitely no body oder and always keep your clothes and shoes and things like that clean too. I mean having some stubble isn't wrong, or not always wearing cologne. But come on now there is a big difference between sexy scruffiness and just plain nasty.

Basic hygiene aside I pamper my man with eyebrow trims, getting the all the hair from around his ears, and pedicures at least 1 time a month. This is the little extra grooming that keeps a man looking a little sharper. He keeps his goatee and mustached trimmed very nice as well.

i like a clean guy, its important to me coz if i'm making an effort to get sprused up, then he sure as hell has to as well. but if we're going for the bad boy look ,like rugged and all, then to an extent, its okay. but you can be clean and rugged. i like it when a guy matches hes shoes with like the lining of a jacket. you see there was a bit of thought in it and it makes him look even better

I'm really not sure about what my guidelines are... but I HATE overly groomed men... especially ones with super manicured eyebrows. I understand if they have a unibrow and need to pluck a few hairs, but some men have perfectly straight "girl brows" and I think it looks DISGUSTING.

It's nice when they wash. Some grooming is OK but I draw the line at lip gloss.
