Answer:
No, it's not. In fact, it's recommended as a technique to try and help you be more "full" and therefore avoid overeating. Also, it is well known that sometimes we FEEL hungry when we are really just thirsty. Drinking water before, during, after, and between meals is great.

Of course, if you are drinking lots of water instead of getting in a healthy amount of food, that's not a good idea. But if that isn't the case, then keep drinking water.

What you have heard is a myth - and old wives tale.

What is bad after eating is NOT to go into the water. Do not swim until at least 30 minutes after eating a meal as you have the possibility of cramps.

Good luck!

It's a myth. Drinking water before a meal actually helps curb hunger so you eat less, thereby reducing caloric intake. Drinking during or after a meal helps digestion by adding liquid to help break down the food.

I have never, never, heard of this before. Who fed you this malarkey? If you are concerned, perhaps it's best to look up an actual medical website. Seriously, where did this come from? I am not belittling you, this is the weirdest "myth' I have ever heard. Water? Water softens your stool-literally, so I rather doubt it can affect you adverselly, unless you are on a liquid restricted diet.

moderate amount of water/drink/soup is fine before/during/after meal otherwise it choked, but if too much of it would slow down your digestive system and make you feel uneasy because you are diluting the digestive fluid in your stomach hence it can't work as normal as it suppose to be, anyway you can try and experiment it yourself.
