How about from school? The internet isn't a wise choice since it's "online" and you can never be sure if you can trust that person either. School is a good choice. Or from your friend's friends, etc. It takes time, so don't rush it =).

Alot of people who are constantly looking sortof get in this weird dating mode where they aren't being themselves anymore. They have the same routine of what to do, how to act and what to say. Thats why everyone says if you stop looking, you'll find love. I don't think you have to stop looking, just change your mindset. You can find love anywhere! Online, at a party, at starbucks, don't cancel anywhere out! Just don't let yourself get frustrated because it seems to be taking forever to get a good guy! I went through the same thing, and a year and a half of being single and hating it. It wasn't until I gave up alot of my superficial standards, and gave everyone the benefit of the doubt that I started having fun and found the love of my life. Have fun, and try not to take anything too seriously. Not everyone will be for you, and you wont be for everyone.

There is no best place. You'll find your soul mate when you find him/her. I don't think it matters where as long as you feel love towards each other.

As per my opinion..I search every where where ever possible to look for my soul mate......
U cant predict where u get to meet a nice person..
M ay be you can meet him here, in yahoo answers too..
so I suggest you to search personally...being social with friends...interact with new people....know more people.....
U search via internet tooo in dating , friendship sites etc...But I think this yahoo answers has been a great site to meet nice people...
I met too many good friends...May be I meet my soul mate here too..
