I would let him go. As long as you trust each other there should be no problem. But the trust has to be both ways and it should not be betrayed.

My husband is in the miltary. So we really don't have a choice. He left for an entire year only 2 weeks after our 3rd child was born.So I was stuck at home post surgery (c section) with post partum depression with a newborn,an 18 month old and a 3 yr old.It was hard and we had pre existing problems in our marriage. So problems did arise but we got past them.We basically chalked it up to lesson learned and it made us stronger.Everyone is bound to make mistakes. The question isn't whether or not they will cheat. But when he leaves you need to know if both of you are strong enough to get past anything that might go wrong. If you or him do not have the ability to get past any hard times then maybe it might be a good idea to seek some sort of marital or couples therapy to prepare yourselves.Nothing is worth losing the person you love.

Yes
I had to... It wasnt out of country but it was 1500 miles away.
It happened twice in one year that he left out of state for work, first for 6 months then this last time for 4 months
You know it will be ok, trust is USUALLY earned and not just given away!

If you both trust and respect each other, let him go. If you have no trust and respect, bad things can happen anywhere.

yeah sure. there's mutual trust right? so i don't really see any problem. there's a line that goes- 'if you love him let him go. and if he comes back he's meant to be yours'...

I really don't like that word...would you "let" him/her go....it's not up to you...you do have your opinion and it should be listened to..marriage is a bit different...that you'd have to agree on...
