Passer-outre? ex-ante? ex-post?

Question

What these words (or expressions) mean? First is french, I think, and other two latin, I guess. I am translating something, it is about auditing and finance. Help anyone? Thanx

passer-outre means to bypass or to go beyond (yes, French)... hope that makes sense in your context...
can also mean to ignore something, to disregard (certain conventions or data, I suppose?)

ex-ante means beforehand
ex-post is the opposite meaning after the fact (yes, from Latin but are used as they stand in other languages)
For example in evaluations:
ex-ante evaluations are done based on forecasted, estimated parameter values,
ex-post evaluations are done using actually realized parameter values.
