Is chicken meal different from chicken by-products??

Yes. Chicken meal is dehydrated and ground chicken. It's made from the actual meat of chicken, though. Chicken by-products are the intestines, feet, beaks, and such. Basically everything that they can't sell to people they will put in pet food as chicken by-products. Chicken by-products are not very nutritious, so it's best to find a pet food that avoids that ingredient. Chicken meal is just fine, though!
