2. Well most believe God created all...
I picture him enjoying a God-size can of beans, finished the can and tasted what had had eaten and knew "it was good"
Walks over to throw the can in the garbage, bends over (but we all know what happens when you eat beans...) instantly gases are expelled and the universe was created. He lets out a deep satisfying sigh and knew "it" was good.
Disclaimer: Before anyone is offended believing I am knocking their God, this is my God I'm talking about (his name Fred) and this is my philosophy of Garyism. We are currently looking for members to donate to build our huge glass church, once built we will go forth in the world and spread Gods word and pray no one throws stones at our beliefs (or church).

God created it, started with the big bang, ad the universe is still expanding now:
and it will collapse when the time comes
1"and the heavens we created with might (power) and we are expanding it." 51:47
2"Do not the unbelievers see that the skies (space) and the earth (matter) were joined together (as one unit of creation) and we ripped them apart?" The Quran, 21:30
2"Then He took hold of the sky when it was smoke." 41:11
3"Blessed is He who made constellations in the sky and placed there in a lamp, and a moon giving light." 25:61
4"It is He who made the sun to light up (the sky) and the moon that is lit." 10:5
6"He has ordained the sun and the moon, each one runs (it's course) for an appointed time." 13:2
7"When the sun is rounded (swelling like a ball)"
"When the stars have collapsed"
"When the oceans boil over in a swell" 81:6

I read in a science magazine that to pick one planet from among all the cosmos of the universe and say life should exist on that planet would be a chance of 1 in 10 to the 40,000th power. That would be a 1 in 10 with 40,000 0's chance that life should exist on earth.
Scientifically and mathematically, we shouldn't be here. Maybe we don't really exist. Maybe God is more real than we are.

No, it's perfectly natural that it was always there. If God was real, wouldn't it be natural? Of course, then he could make righteous loopholes to give someone a chance, like in that bible story where the Earth spun backwards 15 years or something like that. That may have been a loophole in natural law, but i'm sure in what just super intellegence that did that. When airplanes fly, they son't really brake gravity, it was manufactured to lift off the ground because of intellegence. Nothing supernatural here.
Couls God be the Cosmos itself? I don't know ask God if you know him.

Might as well throw my hand in the pot.
I'll go with option #2, Alex.
Simple reasoning here, just as much nonesense as everyone elses: 1 + (-1) = 0. Maybe that's the universe. From 0, just before the big bang, we have 1 (that's us!) and -1 (that's something else, unknowable to us).
Or maybe we're the -1. Ooooh. Freaky.

No.3. God created the universe from nothing - JackBauer said "as far as we know matter cannot be created or destroyed.", but that's not true. Einstein proved that a massive amount of energy can create a small amount of matter. As God is "abundant in dynamic energy" He has more than enough energy to create all the matter in the universe.

I believe in the existence of the universe but how it came about still haunts me. Are there anything beyond the universe? I like to think it was created between dimensions in space. But then again, how does dimensions exists? Infinities.....

It has always been here. It is the alpha and the omega and it is the only 'thing' that is. It is also therefore God, and we are all a part of it. And it is way more complex and intricate then we could ever discover in one lifetime....it's God after all. Shakespeare was onto something when he said 'There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy.'

till we find the answer it goeswith super natural powers and even if we find something where universe is from then we will be tempted to ask the question where that something is from. even science is not limited it has some boundaries beyond where we put the word supernatural.
