i think they had an apple tree. and yes they did eat the apples from there, which they were told not to.

Just a fairy tale. So much of what is written about the garden of Eden and the two that were there doesn't add up. Where did all the rest of us come from. Not from just two. I guess if there was an apple tree then there would have been other plants as well. Probably fish to eat also. Seems like a snake was there so probably other creatures were living with them. Nice story, to bad so many actually believe it.

in garden of eden, there's lots of tree with fruits. the two trees in the middle of the garden are the tree of life and tree of knowledge (good and evil). the only tree that they cannot eat the fruits is the tree of knowledge. so, that's the tree they ate and hence because of that, they were cursed and human sin started from then since because since they ate the fruits, they have to know differentiate between good and evil and made choices. because of god's mercy, they were cast away from garden of eden to prevent them from eating from the tree of life that provides eternal life cos if they are cursed and live forever, imagine what would have happened to them?
