given that having sex in the public is wrong, well some people do it, i'm curious about in hotels. its not prostitutes just your girlfriend/wife. no porn filiming either.

Sex in a hotel room is not 'public', unless you're in more of a communal hostel or something similar, where people all bed down in the same room in bunks. But in hotels, you've paid for a private room. What you do there is your own business.
Note that there are seedy motels that make their business off of this sort of thing - the sort of places where you rent by the hour. :) And couples on their honeymoon almost always end up in a hotel somewhere. That's why many have "honeymoon suites" - with special heart shaped jacuzzis and things set up just for this.
Now, doing it in the hotel lobby, or the elevator, or the hallway, or their pool... that's another story, and it'll probably get you arrested for indecent exposure... if you're caught. ;-)

there is not any international regulation that prohibits sex with all girlfriends in all hotels less than all situations. There are regulations prohibiting sex with babies. There are regulations in some parts of the international that restrict unmarried people from having sex. There are all sorts of regulations that could want to stick with searching on who's having sex, or what type, or maybe as and the position.

what else do you think can a man and a woman do in a room of a hotel? That's the reason why they checked in because they can't do things in public...
In a hotel, people can do whatever they want just like how things are done inside a house... It's just that hotels are temporary houses or shelter...

So yes, sex is legal in a hotel. It's very much like your home, only.. it's not.
Though, I'd love to live at the Wynn in Las Vegas.

Certainly. The legalities concerning what you can do in a hotel room do not differ materially from what you can do in a home bedroom. This can be affected by contract, however -- you can no longer use tobacco in a Marriott hotel room.
