How can I obtain a code number for a Mitsumi CD re-writer, have disc.?

The installation code is often pronted on the disc sleeve. If you've lost this you're a bit stuck. However, the re-writer should work without using the installation software as it's a standard IDE device. Just plug it in a switch on. Windows will do the rest.
