Detailed information is a subjective term, but they do provde a lot considering that they are bound to this little blue ball, stuck between a sliver of atmosphere and cold dark space.

Some of the information is fact based on observation and measurment. Some is theory which they seek to ptove or disprve by the scientific method.

Facts can be measured by telescope, which allow us, even you, to see the heavens and the light of the artifacts. Some of the light can be passed through inferometers to measure the chemical makeup of what they are looking at. It works on earth, so we believe that what we see is accurate too.

Some calculations are mathematical. Just as we can mathematically measure the height of a tall building by measuring from two locations. When the earth moves from one side of the sun to another, a start distance can be measured.

Edwin Hubble discovered that the light measured was shifting into the red band, which was amazing and unexpected,. It means that everything in space is moving away from everything else. They conclude that we are all part of a "rubble" in a massive explosion, everything bowing apart. When they plot the rubble pieces, it looks as if there was an explosion at some point. The big bang

BUT, the most interesting part is the data received from non-visible light. Radio waves and such. As that is measured, more conclusions can be deduced. Some stars are redio beacons, doe example.

As Einsteins theories came into play, they have been able to see the universe in a different way, light bending around starts and such.

As we have been able to shed the distortions in the atmosphere (air dirstorts the quality of the view). The satellites have provided a magnificent amount of detail .Distinguishing planets around stars that used to be a blurr.

This is only an expnanation of the easy stuff, there is more.

i'm not an atheist, even if the complexity of people isn't a compelling argument that there should be an smart dressmaker on the back of all this. it extremely is plausible that the universe has no genuine beginning. it extremely is plausible that it runs consistent and has adjustments occuring interior it, showing astronomers some element that they take as confirming information of an starting up position. If the large Bang is genuine, then how did that little beam of sunshine develop into the seen universe without little nudge? inspite of this, how did that beam of sunshine get there interior the first position? even if, what if all of existence is sweet good right here in this universe and it in reality keeps going and going like an Energizer battery? we do not realize both way, and each and every and each and every of the reasoning and technologies interior the international will by no ability tutor something. in reality get excitement out of your faith and in case you journey the might want to need to spread it, do not attempt to make each and absolutely everyone seem as if they are incorrect via reality they trust in some element else. you purely seem stupid interior the frame of mind.

they really don't. .

Most of what most scientists "know" about the universe is speculation that will be outdated information in two years.

They publish what they think, but most of what they think they really don't know.

It all has to fit into their Darwinian scenario, so they ignore some very obvious data. . very obvious empirical findings if those findings fail to fit into their preconceived theology. . er. . I mean, cosmology. .

By the way, the Big Bang is on the way out, as more and more top scientists sign on to an open letter to the science community saying the Big Bang doesn't fit with scientific findings.

Go here to see the statement (and what top scientists from around the world have signed their names to this statement -hundreds of scientists from science institutions from around the world):

Most science is contrived from mathematic equations, and computation. Yes math IS everything if you want anything.
