it seems simple, but i havent been able to find either one of them online. Any links or suggestions would be helpful.

I was just looking at it: I used the Yahoo browser and typed "California Vehicle Code 2006" and it came up with links to the CA Dept. of Motor Vehicles site. As for the Santa Ana traffic code, I can't help you there.

The link below will get you to the California traffic code. Santa Ana has probably adopted the same code, so the traffic laws will be the same.
