What do you like better? Dogs or cats?

I like them both... but I am a cat owner. I love that they are so much less maintenance than a dog. I don't have to worry about leaving my cat at home alone as oppossed to a dog. Yet, I feel like I still get all the love and attention I would get with a dog.

I was raised in a house where there was always a cat around. More often than not the cat ended up being "Dad's cat". I got a dog ten years ago and have never looked back. Although dogs are more work the benefits far outweigh the cons. They are loyal, loving and great companions. Just ask my husband, he often comments that I talk to the dog more than I do him.

I really love both. I have had both as pets, and friends - a cat only right now, but that is only because I work long hours and couldn't possibly walk a dog appropriately, although it would do me good....

I long for a calmer routine, and the chance to have both at the same time.

I would have to say cats because I train both domestic and exotic cats. They are a challenge to train, but quite quick to learn once the bells go off inside their heads! It's like asking which you like better...ketchup or mustard -- only you why I just stated this since you've already asked that one ;-)

am crazy about dogs, everytime i play with them, they make me happy the whole day. i like them way more than i like cats.

cats of course. they do not obey and have a sense of self. dogs are trained to be their masters ego
