why is the injection pump speed is twice less than the crankshaft?

Because in case of four stroke engines... power stroke or ignition stroke comes once in two revolutions of crank shaft. Injector needs to inject fuel only at this power stroke hence... speed is halved....

Because for one revolution of the crankshaft equals 1 cycle (suction and compression) of the piston.
