~~actually dry shampoo is like a powder that is used to absorb the oils in the hair to give it the appearance of just being washed... Herbal Cleanse - Herbal Cleanse is a "Dry Shampoo" that is perfect for those who wear natural hairstyles or are temporarily unable to shampoo their hair. It cleanses the hair and scalp and replenishes moisture to the hair in-between your regular shampoos. ~~

Hi, I use sometimes dry shampoo. It comes in spray, so you just spray it on your hair and leave it for five minutes. Than you comb your hair and that is it. It is some kind of talk that dry grease from hair. It lasts one day and it is good for emergency cause it's use is really fast and the hair doesn't look bad. I think that you can find different kinds on the market, this that I have is very good but only thing that I don't like about it is it's very strong smell. Anyway, I must wash hair every 2-3 days and this is very useful thing when I am in hurry.

It's a powder, like talc, useful in emergencies but not suitable for constant use. As a last resort if you run out of shampoo you can use a small amount of talc if you haven't got any dry shampoo.

It depends, you can get dry shampoo in a can which you just spray in instead of actually washing your hair. There is shampoo in a talc like form which you add water to and it cleans your hair that way.
Also there is shampoo meant for people who have dry hair and need to add moisture to it!

Dry shampoo is in the form of a spray powder and is good if you have greasy/oily hair. Lee Stafford (in the UK) does a good version, basically you spray it onto the roots of dry hair, rub it in, and it soaks up the oil from the roots.

Man, the shampoo is not dry, it's for people who have dry (the opposite of oily) hair.

Well...I think that a "dry shampoo" is for people with dry hair. Like certain shampoos are for people with dry/normal/oily hair...

dry shampoo is a powder that is sprinkled into your hair and scalp and then combed out when you can't wash your hair or don't have water available to shampoo the regular way. ie when you're very ill in hospital and cant shower, or when you are camping etc. it works by soaking up the excess oils and deodorising your hair.

IT's like a spray that you spray in and then leave for a few mins before brushing out. Bastiste is the old make, but their are some newer ones, its designed for if you don't have enough time to wash your hair and is supposed to cling on to dirt and grease which is removed when you brush it out. You can also use baby talc, but you must brush very thoroughly!
