What a great question.
My mum is always embarassing me in many ways. She can all of a sudden go in to monkey mode and start waving her hand above her head and making noises like a monkey will walk down the street lik it.
She also makes a fuss because I bear a resemblance to the Vicar of Dibley. She has worn bright wigs whilst driving down the road.
She has been known to get into the wrong car when I have been parked next to the same model.
I love my mum to bits and I certainly get my own back on her. We are bestest freinds and I wouldn't have her any other way.

Parent's habits are hard to change. When I was little my father would embarrass me because he would ask anyone any question to help us achieve what we were doing.
He would also joke around with other people, total strangers, he usually put a smile on their face. Now I'm 45 & I do that every day, I try to make someone's day, or just talk to total strangers, I learn so much that way. Living in Hawaii, that's how we roll! I'm very proud of my parents even though they are sooo old fashioned, but they 'aint gonna change, so whadda you going to do?!....Aloha!

I love this question! My Dad loved embarrassing me when I was growing up, now nothing can embarrass me. When I was in middle school he used to wave goodbye to the bus in front of our house in a blue robe and fireman boots every morning. Once he made my brother, sister and I shovel chicken poop all day in our front yard and then took us out to dinner...we didn't get to change. My husband and I are already thinking of ways to embarrass our children (I'm expecting in December.) When you really think about it, little things they're saying from your childhood, does it really matter if anyone knows? If they think its worth sharing, it's probably funny!
