Wow! What a question!
The smell of the gas you release is determined by the food you eat. For example: when you eat onions, you gas smells really horrible. I guess he/she is eating some pretty "stinky" food.
Also, I can not believe he/she does that within smelling range, poor you!

why do u go up to their *** and smell their fart? and if the fart smell is too strong they ate beans or rotten eggs.

it's all to do with ..diet.what we eat if meat is eaten normally it takes longer to digest stays in our stomach longer .so it will smell stronger when we pass wind

Something he/she is eating, probably...onions and some spices can be deadly. If they have a high-fibre diet, it's even more so.
