yes I know Him as my saviour. I was a catholic and a very committed one, but catholism and religion in general do not save.

Jesus never brought any religion. Religion is a man's making. In search for God, in search for truth but Salvation is God reaching out to us in search for us. Accepting salvation is the best way to ggo.

When you are saved is coming to ens of yourself and telling God I can't do it in my way my religious ways, I surrender to you have your way in me. Religion can not save but Jesus saves.

Jesus is not a religious figure like muhamed or budha or judah taddeo, Jesus is a King and Son of God. He came to restore us back to God. When we get saved we receive a new life and live as children of God, where God is our Father and we are His sons and daughters.

God is not to be approached religiously but approached as a Father, great King in all the universe. Get saved today, Receive a new life a rebirth. When your inner man is regenerated by God himslef and not a work of man, we say you are born again. No longer living to the worldly desires but living a new life in Christ.

Joh 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

Joh 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

Joh 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

Joh 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

Joh 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

The Christian belief that atonement can only be effected through Jesus runs counter to the provisions for atonement prescribed in the Jewish Scriptures. First and foremost, God, and no one else, provides the means of reconciliation and fellowship (2 Chronicles 7:14), which precludes any claim for atonement through the death of Jesus. In contrast to the Christian concept that man is hopelessly entrapped in sin, the Jewish Scriptures provide ample testimony that although man may have an inclination towards evil (Genesis 8:21) the means of personal reconciliation with God are always at hand (e.g. Psalms 51:16-19, Jeremiah 29:13).

I also accepted Christ at the age of 4 ! It wasn't until I was 12 though that I understood what living a life of surrender meant. I am now 42 years old and the Lord just keep getting sweeter and sweeter as the days go by.....AMEN

I know him for a fraud and a fake. However, much of the nonsense that passes for Christianity was added long after Jesus was gone.

:raises hand:

Also, I believe that there is no one point you become 'saved' certainly, you can say when you first believed, or when you actaully decided to follow him as best you could, but I think it is a journey, a path that must be walked, so in my opinion, this common question should be replaced with "Where are you in your walk with God?" in the church at large.
