My GF wants to go to the party of this guy i hate because he's a jerk from what i've seen. but she says he's a nice guy. she really really wants to go but says that if i tell her i dont want her to go then she wont cuase it upsets me. but i dont want her to go because this guy has hit on my GF's best friend countless times, even when both he and my GF's best friend were in relationships. **** i dont know if i should tell her to go or not to go.

....i'm not sure if this will count for anything but we've been together well for 8 months, i know to some it might seem short but i've already grown to love her and she loves me too, this has nothing to do with cheating or an insecurity of our relationship, it has to do with her being friends with a guy i hate and she wants to go to his birthday party

Why can't she bring you a long? Something seems suspicious here. If your girlfriend loves and understands you, she would ask you to go with her. Not by herself. I mean, I know you want to give the best to her, but situations like this needs to have a second thought. It's nice of you to let her go to the party, but... not too sure if it really was a wise choice. He may be hitting on your girl at the party since you're not there and your girlfriend can do whatever she wants. Have a talk to her when she comes back home. Hope everything goes well with you.

Well it really depends.
If you had any serious problems with him you could ask her not to go. Don't tell her not to or else it will make her think you are trying to control her.
Just express your distaste for this guy and if she wants to go let her go.
Unfortunately no matter who your girlfriend is she will always know someone who just doesn't rub you the right way.

Do you trust her? If she was going to cheat it wouldn't matter if it was this guy or someone else,right? And if she was going to cheat then stopping her from going to this party wouldn't stop her anyway. It really comes down to whether or not she wants to cheat. What do you think?

Tell your girlfriend to go, have fun, but you won't be there when she gets back, your gf going to a party of your friends is cool, but to a party of someone you don't like, it's not right!

If you're available to go and she wants to go with some other guy...it sounds like she's asking you if she is free to date other people or if you two are exclusive. If you let her go, don't show up checking on her, that'll end the relationship.

let her go don't be too much over protective, she will not put herself in danger...maybe this guy is just a friend to him,or maybe this is the tactic of your girl to draw your attention...or better said she is just testing you bro!
