The difference is that imagination is usually an individual thing, whereas spirituality is the collective imagination of many people.

The main difference is knowing what is possibly real and probably fiction. When I sense 'invisible people' and imagine that they are characters from comic books, I have to stop and realize that isn't possible. There is a definite connection between schizophrenia and actual spiritual connection, but the difference is the matter of interpretation.

The average person does not realize; that the imagine is a function of the human mind. And, is the avenue from which all inspiration and thought processes come from. Spirituality is a comprehension which flows through the processes of the imagination. Day dreaming WILL develop your imagination. Spiritual matters will develop during these periods of day dreaming IF you have a question that you are pondering.

If one has experience a spiritual encounter you know it is real and you use most of you senses like feeling the Holy Spirit or seeing an Angle, tasting a sweetness or hearing the voice of God. Yes for sure we have imaginations like all people. Mine is actually very advances. But you know when you are imagining things. You are not sure what you have seen and it kind of feel like a dream.
When God is present you KNOW it is real and you will always remember it. Imaginary things fade away.

Your close, the spiritual is experienced deep inside like your imagination or intuition, but it also manifest in reality among the people! 2 things 1. The HOLY SPIRIT AFTER GETTING YOURSELF BORN AGAIN WILL COME AND LIVE IN YOU! Acts 2. Once this happens
God will start to give you guiding in the form of feelings , intuition, and other leadings , a word from somebody, an idea or dream. But to put it all together , here is whats going on and what you need to do, if your read your bible daily the HOLY SPIRIT WILL INTERPRET IT TOO YOU and reveal what Gods will is for your life. So that's the key when you spend time in the bible , it comes alive in the form of his spirit living in you, Now what you need to do is receive Jesus and go read John to the end of the Book!

there is no difference, other than the perceptive definition of the individual experiencing the event in question.
example:
spiritually inclined person sees shadow in the corner of his eye sight. he might think..1.its a ghost, or a spirit. 2.he might think it's an evil presence.
Logical person: would 1.realize that at night our vision is quite BAD as far as mammalian eyes go. 2.light from MANY different sources can create shadows and play tricks on the eyes.
and there ya have it. it's all in the eye of the beholder (pun intended).

Great question...I personally feel that it is all about the imagination. I have had some very real dreams, but I know that they are not reality. I think that if people want it to be real then they make it real in their own world. If you've ever taken a Psychology class, then you've probably heard that people create their own realities. It's all in their head. ;0)

The spirtual realm is no different than this one. At least if your talking about ghosts.Ghosts, real spirits, appear where and when they want. The difference between them and your imagination is you.If you are questioning yourself or are not sure then it could very well have been imagined. A real expierience is not something you would be unsure about. Please believe that you would know the difference.

imagination is directly perceived by the person to be not real and not present to the senses. spirituality is usually the answer for some people to what is experienced by the senses but cannot be explained by them.
in my opinion anyway, this is the difference

There is no difference between them.Actually "spiritual" things are also imagined things. Human imagination can create many, many newer and newer universes in thought and name those in fantastic ways.
