You wouldn't go to jail but A) that's just plain immoral and I hope it wasn't premeditated, and B) you CAN get in trouble through the UCMJ if you take it any further. It's called adultery and it is specifically forbidden by military law. I have seen people get kicked down from E-6 to E-1 due to an adultery case.

Kissing?.... Unless you happen to kiss the Base Commander (or his wife) or you happen to be kissing a person of the same gender as you in front of your senior personnel or the same Base commander. I don't see any kissing problems. But let the kissing be of a fellow unit members spouse and it proceed past kissing to more "personal" and clothing optional actions (either public or private) and you could well be on your way to a all bills paid vacation to Leavenworth Federal Penal Facility for several years for fraternization or adultery (Which is still on the Military Law Books).

No.

You are thinking of "adultery", and that IS against military, and some state, law. Kissing is not against the law in the military, unless it's homosexual in nature and the individual is caught. Homosexuality is still forbidden under UCMJ.

What? Kissing someone isn't a felony...your husband may not like it if you kiss someone else but no, you won't end up in jail for kissing.

I would consult the uniform code of military justice on that one.. Your public or military base library might have a copy.

I don't think they'd take it that far but if it's in their code of conduct book I'd say it's possible, but like i said i doubt they'd take it that far , if the person reports them to the co they might get demoted, But if your the spouse why would you want a pay cut?

If you kiss someone in cheek or forehead, i think it's okay but if you do it at the "others" it will be a scandal
