How do i overcome, or 'deal' with it

I don't get jealous. Jealousy is an indication of insecurity and is caused by low self esteem, immaturity, and a need to control others.
If you want to overcome it, or "deal"with it, then raise your self esteem, grow up (or pretend to be a grown up), and only need to control your own life, not others'.

Jealousy is a waste of energy. You have nothing to be jealous of. You are who you are and no one can take that or alter it. If this is because of a relationship issue...forget it...if they leave...great. You will be free to find another who is sure about wanting to be with you. If this is about comparing yourself and/or your possesions with another...forget it too. You have no idea what their weaknesses are, or what they have been through to get what they have. Example, I have a friend in her mid-thirtys who seems to have absolutely everything she could want. She is a widow and her husbands life insurance supports her. She is miserable on the inside. I was married to a great guy, flirtatious, but great. He had an affair and left me. So what? That was about him...not me. I have a fantastic husband now and I'm much happier. Jealousy would have kept me wallowing in other peoples issues. Your great and valuable no matter what. Keep that in your head and you'll find jealousy has a hard time coming to the surface.

Being jealous is an emotional response to a situation. You want something that another has.

Like all emotions you that you feel it, what you do with those feelings is entirely up to you.

You will never overcome the emotion, but how you deal with it is entirely yours.

Envy just happens to be one of the 7 deadly sins. If left untreated, it could prove to be a health hazard.
Channel those negative energy into something positive instead. Don't be consumed by jealousy, walk it off, take a deep breath.

you don't get up set . you look at it ask your self if the person really loves you. if so talk to them let them know how you fill.
after that if they love you don't worry. if you must worry leave them because there not worth your sanity.
