my dog has to sleep im my room. my parents bring her in when they go upstairs. i hate it though cause i just tried to leave, and like always, she tried to escape. i eventually get so irratated that i pick her up and walk the 3 steps to the bathroom. its either that or:
1. let her go, but then i have to chase her around the basement.
2. run fast to the door when she goes under my bed, but then get my toe scraped and possibly a missing toe from the sharp door.

should i get a cage? we dont have any cages to spare.
they wont listen to me when i tell them to get another kennel.

Yes, find a cage 2 keep him n u r room. is he a puppy. If so, he will grow out of hiding and not listening. If u can't afford a cage. go on www.freecell.com and no money changes hands what u give is free and what u get is free. click on u r state and then click on u r county or nearest. u are sure to have 2 have a cage soon. make sure it is big enough. when we first brought our Yorkie home, we bought 4 wooden child gates and tied 'em together for a lot of the day, 2 keep it from going on the floor and then we keep him n the carrier at night. the breeder we bought Corky from had 8 plastic gates in a circle an that is where they stayed and they other 5 were content. I don't know if i helped but, good luck. They r a lot of work, but a lot of rewards ahead.

First why does your dog have to sleep in your room? If she must sleep in there close the door.
I have 2 dogs the stay inside with me all day but at night I lock them out so they can sleep in there own beds and go to the toilet with out waking me up.

you should get one of those kid fences to block the door. if your dog is small that is. i'm assuming she is sine she can fit threw cracks to get out. i dont reccommend a cage, its sad. and the dog will whine thoguhout the night and you would be able to sleep

spend some time training your dog the stay command. It is best to reward her with treats when she stays and behaves.

You don't need to get a cage. You just need to train her.

Good luck.

just put her in a crate big enough for her or him. if it gets out then just take a bungy cord and attach it to th latch and to the the back of the the cage.

You need to train her, so that you can say "down - stay" and leave while she is laying there obediently. You definitely need to take her to some obedience training.
