Lenses cannot be washed with Tap Water becos it contains impurities, you shld only wash it with mulit purpose contacr lense solution. As far as I know you can wash the containers using tap water no problem at all.Just wipe it dry after washing.I have been using lenses for almost 10 yrs.

Actually you shouldn't wash it with water. Second of all if it is far too dirt, then you could wash it with water first, then rince it twice with the cleansing solution. Before you place in your contact lenses in the cases.

Sure, wash it out with the same cleaner that you use to clean your contacts. Just squirt some in there and use it to clean out the case. You may want to get a new case every few months anyways.

well, it advisable to wash you lens case with soap and tap water...then you need to dry it off before storing the lens inside... you need to change the lens case every 3 months or so as it's the breeding place for bacterias...
