If sperm is anywhere in the vaginal canal and in the reproductive organ region a girl can be pregnant. Sperm can survive up to 72 hours outside the male body. The further away from the egg the sperm is the less likely the girl is to get pregnant.

Ideally sperm needs to penetrate an ovum (egg) inside of the uterus. Sometimes it meets one in the fallopian tube, which isn't a great place to grow a baby.

ask any school kid
they will tell you
it is in the cervix .you have to put your extension into the vagina to get there
there are plenty of books on the subject
maybe you should think about other things
that you are more knowledgeable about.
you could get into trouble with this one
are you a male by the way .do you have one of those pipy things hanging between your legs .

it has to be in the uterus and there must be fetile eggs available in order to be fertilised.
also the sperm must be as healthy as the egg in order for the eggs to merge and form a foetus
