it seems like everyone these days is so keen on having a boyfriend or girlfriend that the whole dating stage(you know going on dates, but not being exclusive or just not haveing that lable yet) is being skipped right over

what happened to the no kissing on the first date rule??

why would anyone want to jump into a serious realtionship without knowing the person first....

i feel like i'm almost alone with this thought, its like i'm one of the only people who wanna know a lot about someone before i call him my boyfriend....

what do you think??

I blame it on movies and t.v.... now a days media show people falling in love in days.. i'm sorry but true love, i believe, cannot happen in days.. it take a long time
you can't be ready to spend your whole life with someone after knowing them for a few weeks..... or even months
and the idea that sex in needed in a realtionship before marriage it ridiculous....

I totally agree with you. You really have to get to know a person before things get too serious. People, I think, are getting impatient and therefore will make a bad choice in their relationship. These things have to take time in order for it to work out. Sooo, you're so totally not the only one who thinks that you have to know people to be involved with them.

problem now days is that we all are in such a hurry to get where were going and to get what we want that we dont take the time to really find out if that other person is the right one for us...we've also lost the innocence of getting to know each other slowly, which is really how you find out the important stufff about each other...take it as slow as possible and you'll find out more about the person your dating...but don't wait too long to get sexual or they just may find someone else, and sex is and alway has been a very important part of a relationship.....

Yes, it's sounds true to me. Many people now days are just into the flop & F..K rule.

They all are looking for the quick fix.
