Harmful pesticides keep bugs out of my Coke. And they scare off creepy eco-freaks, which makes the whole drinking experience that much more enjoyable.

The harmfull pesticides that you're refering to comes from the sugar cane that flavours the "said" drink in terms of its main ingredients, namely sugar.

I also sense some anti commercialism in your question.

But to answer your question, most people are numb to the fact that there is "harmfull pesticides" in coke or pepsi...unless you were raised by tree hugging hippies or some new fangled new age pagan new scientist spawn of greenpeace.

People drink Coke or Pepsi becoz it is the drink of choice for the"new generation"...coke/pepsi has been around long before either of us were born, and through years of subliminal brainwash buy evil corporate companies hell bent on controlling the planet...MOST people deep down in a spiritual level have been suckered in by these said products.

These people cant help themselves, its not in their programming to say no to coke/pepsi, as it has been planted in society through media, sports games, and all other souces even war and politics...as in the case in Vietnam when soldiers handed out chocolates and "coke" to young civillians to pacify them, even now they still use this tactic.

The truth of the matter is, its not the chemical in the drink itself that is harmfull, but by the corruption of our minds by these said corporates...

Coke/Pepsi is a drug, they should have labels on them too...causes bowel/colon cancers, intestenal damage, increased susceptibility to heart problems, obesity, mouth ulcers, tooth decay....but alas, all things that are "bad" for you, we want...coz only ******* dont drink coke/pepsi.

Not just pesticides but the combination of citric acid and sodium or potassium benzoate can result in toxic benzine in your fizzy drink.
