Man, how many times do we need to explain this? The different versions are taken from different manuscript copies. The KJV is translated from the oldest MSS. The main Bible versions (KJV, NAS, NIV) agree in doctrine, history and ethics. The main difference is in the divergence of words used to put forth a particular idea. The message is the same, but the sources are simply different MSS copies of the originals. I do not consider the JW's Bible as a true translation since they alter the main doctrines.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God. He is the original version. Men who are not led by the Spirit of God have changed the Word into something they can control. If you want the truth, it's there for you in the original scriptures. Can you read Greek and Hebrew? The 1611 King James Version together with a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance is the very best you can get for the English speaking people.><>

No doubt the bible is the word of God. It is perfect in structure, never contradicts itself (regardless of what others might say, has 66 books written by over 40 different authors over a two thousand year period who did not know each other or that their divinely inspired writings would be incorporated together. As far as versions are concerned check out this link http://christiananswers.net/dictionary/version.html
Don't worry Jesus is coming back soon. I hope you've accepted Him in your heart.

The Bible is the Word of God translated by man, and retranslated over and over.
Man is fallible and can make mistakes. Also, there can be mistakes in understanding....
But I think God's plan is pretty simple and we don't need another messenger - just better listeners....
And I don't think necessarily that means an organized Church!

Because he didn't write it. The church wrote it a long ago to explain why everything exists and to make people believe the way the church wanted them to. Scientists trying to tell people that the earth obited the sun were imprisoned for a lifetime or killed because they went against church belief that the Earth was the center of everything. Everyone who believes what is written in the Bible and tries to obey its every word has just been lied to over the hundreds of years and parents teach their children to believe in the same stuff everyone has been brainwashed. Research it yourself where did the dinosaurs come from? When did GOD create them...its not in the Bible.. why you may ask because the Bible was written by the Church and they didn't know of their existence.

There have been prophets sent, even today, but since people rather listen to who tells them what they want to hear and not the truth - the prophets of God are ignored. Who are the fake ones that people perfer to listen to? Tv preachers, so-called-scholars with 20 different letters after thier names, anyone with a flashy smile and a nice suit, and those who abolish God's Torah.
The true prophets are out there, but people rather listen to their own teachers who tell them what they want to hear.
A person can only be set straight if they choose to be.

All of the modern so-called Bibles are altered counterfeits. I have personally seen the proof and am convinced that the genuine Word of God is in the KJV 1611.
God wrote one book and preserved it. You will find that all of the bedrock doctrines of Christianity have been attacked in all of the modern versions.

The bible is what man percieves as the "words" of god, the bible was written by humans, it was not found lying on the ground placed there by the hands of god. People are imperfect and in so theyr interpretation of god is also imperfect, becouse of this people have diffrent views on what the bible says or should say.

The bible is the work of fallible scholars putting together ancient writinga. Their own biases and censorship shows in what is in some editions and left out of others. Then, the Catholics have their version dictated no doubt by Caesar Borgia, the Pope.
