An oat bran or other high fiber low-sugar cereal (cold) with fruit and skim (non-fat) milk is an excellent way to start the day. Cherrios, believe it or not, have a fair amount of fiber and are not highly sweetened. That is why it is ok for babies as their first finger food once they have teeth to chew. You can look at the fiber content and sugar content on the label. You can also add a small glass of juice, preferrably fortified with calcium for strong bones.

Two bananas to start your day.
Learn to make iddlis......you can keep batter in fridge for 4-5 days.
If you keep the moulds dry at night. Put the batter out for 15 mins. Then start quick greasing the moulds with brush.
Steam for 10 mins.
Sambhar mix is readily available so keep stock cooked. Use when required.
If this is time consuming then start with scambled eggs. Melt butter, add cheese spread or cubes then add eggs, salt and pepper.
Somtimes I add lil capsicum pcs and chopped green chillies.

Get one of those travel safe cups. Make a big smoothie with lots of fruit, some yoghurt, and raw oat meal. It'll fill you up and the sugar from the fruit, protein from the yoghurt and the fiber and carbs in the oatmeal will keep you going.

A banana, a bagel, and a glass of instant breakfast, and youre set.
You could also have some extra stuff, too, like a hard boiled egg, and a handful of nuts, if you need to fill up more.

I like to start out the day on a healthy note. I eat a candy bar and a coke in the car on the way to work.
