In order for a person to judge whether this so called game is demonic or not, I think that they would have to acknowledge that demons are real. Demons are real, angels are real and God is real. As for DnD, yes, it is VERY demonic. My brother was into it and became a dungeon master. It drove him into a very dark place. And for those people who don't believe in demons; if you were to see someone you've known and loved your entire life, throw things across a room without even touching them and start speaking the most fowl obscenities in someone elses voice, you just might change your mind.
There are many things that are dangerous for people to get involved in. Even these card games like Magic the Gathering or movies like Harry Potter. What people don't understand is that the creators try to make these things seem like they are so far fetched that they couldn't possibly be true. This way, people with no knowledge of the occult will assume that it is pure fantacy and invite this junk into their homes. This is like opening an e-mail with a virus attached to it. You can't see the virus, but it is messing with your computer. You can't see the demonic influence, but it is messing with your family.

When a church or it's group needs a platform to stand on so they can recruit new members from other Church's or beliefs.
They will find a demon in something. As for your question the answer is NO!
There is nothing demonic in this world it's just a person's way of controlling you through your fears. Were you ever told about the monster under your bed and that it would attack if you did not go to sleep? CONTROL THROUGH FEAR!
I know that the only demons on this planet are the ones who target children!!! They are the pedophiles which are not demonic they are pure and simple animals that need to be exterminated once and for all.

Nope. I've even knew someone who's priest played the game. Its no more harmless than watching TV about ancient Greece, or Jason and the Argonauts. The world in the game is a fantasy, with fake people, places, societies, and fake Gods. If anything, my experiences with the game helped me to think more about God when I was confronted with thinking about which fake Gods I thought were a good fit for my characters. To be fair, yes, there are pieces about demon worship and dark and terrible things that go bump in the night, but you can just ignore it when you play. While its fun to be the band of crusaders to beat down the gates of hell in pursuit of evil, it can be a fun twist to be the bad guy once in a while. Just try not to show up to work in a suit of armor and leave the game at home.

I asked this question, but in fact, it is not demonic. It is a game like any other. It is fictitious with a lot of thought and creativity, and might I even add artistic expression in it. It develops math skills among the youth, and brings together friends. It has been misinterpreted as demonic because of some of the creatures and and ideas in it. But there are spiritual and even very religious sides to it to. For example, you could make a character that is like a paladin, or a religious upholder that resembles christianity. It is only what you make it.
Is harry potter demonic? No. Same idea
Andrew B., that is scare tactics, your little comic strip. Sure it could happen, but that could happen in ANY situation.

Its fiction. Dungeons, dragons, magic, elves, wizards... kinda like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia (which was written by a Christian, by the way), Cinderella, Santa Clause and any other fictitious magical stuff. I'm a Christian, I've played both the video game and a version made up from a manual (we have a bunch of people come over and it's like storytelling) and I've never had any ambition to go out and cast spells on people or contact a medium or spiritist or anything else that God forbids. I think parents should have discresion over whether or not their kids know enough about the difference between fiction or reality and whether or not they should play it.
My character happens to be a pink-haired elf with rainbow colored eyes who puts people to sleep with her violin-playing and likes a bit of adventure. It's not like I'm going to go out and become my character. Besides, my character is based on myself anyway (minus the elfness, the pink hair and the rainbow eyes). I do have a talent for putting people to sleep with my violin playing and I love a good adventure. Especially when it's an adventure that God has called me to. My character is a child of God living in a dark world, just like me.
And on that note, you may even be able to witness to people through the game.

No, its not true.
Pokemon however.... with their creepy little eyes.......
Ok, that was a joke. No, the only real dangers to any forms of games is people taking it a) too seriously and b) overdosing on them. Video games under the right mental circumstances of the player can desensatize people to violence etc, but once more, its only very rare cases that the news hype up to make it all seem bad.

Anything that has anything to do with "sorcery" is considered "demonic" by the church. Like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. It's pretty damned ridiculous ain't it? It's just a silly little game.

Is it true that all christians are Nazis and KKK members since they are also christians? Is it true that christians advocate rape and beating of women, since "god" approves of those things in the bible? Is it true that christians want to own black slaves again since slavery was mentioned in the bible?
There is a better case for my questions than yours because they at least can be pointed to in the bible. Yours is based on ignorance and lies taught to you that you regurgitate on command.

Here is one opinion. I have never seen any direct personal proof, but I think it is demonic and I don't allow my kids to have anything to do with it.
