what do you do if someone breaks into your house in the middle of the night and you see them?

The Law says You can actually KiLL anyone who illegally breaks into your home...assuming you are fearing for your life. Of course, this is one of many options. I myself would give ONE fair warning, then bangbang; DON'T do this unless you REALLY have a firearm AND are prepared to use it!!! Hiding while calling the law may seem ok...until you're discovered...that could be bad. Exit the dwelling, get away! call the law from elsewhere, that's a good option....

lock yourself in your room and call 911 right away. i would suggest putting something large infront of the door 2 so its more secure, hope this never happens to ya though

you could try logging on to yahoo and asking a bunch of strangers while some dude is cranked up on dope and standing right behind you getting ready too..............
