Whatever gypsy gal has indicated in her answer above is right. Getting a visa for you at this time may be a difficult situation in view of what is happening around, though it is sad.
Not related to your question, yet I suggest you to postpone your travel plans to UK for some time.

You should apply through Brithish Embassy in Delhi. You might need to show a letter of invitation from your frined. Bank statement showing enough fund to support yourself during your stay in UK etc. The procedure is long. Moreover if you are a Muslim there are more hazzels due to the current situation in UK.
