is plasma and amplifiers purchased in UK compatibile with Australian TV/Foxtel transmissions?

i am moving from UK to Australia and have UK purchased audio visual (plasma/amp/DVD/speakers) that i was planning to ship out but need to know if they will operate with Australian Foxtel/terestrial tv transmissions

Yes and no. the dvds will still play on the player, but the power supply might be different but check which region your player is, might not play aust dvd's. Check if it says PAL or NTSC for your tv, unless its HDTV. Your stereo will work fine, but again might need a power adapter.
