If she is bleeding after breeding she needs to see a vet... it could be any number of things which nobody can really tell you without seeing her in person. I can tell you it is not normal and not a good sign.

your dog is in heat! She is menstruating. Depending on the breed and age of the dog it can last up to a month.

The good thing is you know is depending on the breed and age it will only happen every 3 - 6 months.

Go to your grocery store and buy generic baby diapers, make sure to geet ones that are big enough to go around her "waist", cut a hole out for her tail. If you keep her inside and do not have anything on her, you will have blood dripping all over your carpet, etc. I know it sounds gross, but that is nature for you.

It sounds to me like she's still in heat. Dogs aren't fertile until the bleeding "runs clear"....towards the end of the cycle.

You may want to wait and breed her again.

How many days has she been in season? The average is three weeks or 21-days. Hope you remembered to mark your calender ;) Anyway if it's been longer than that then she could have any number of problems and could be aborting the litter. Best take her to the vet if that's what we are talking about.
