I made a bet with a guy. He picked tiger woods to win the pga, and I took the field. who, in your opinion has the advantage?

I was going to post something similar. Obviously, Tiger is the big favorite, but I still think you have the advantage, because I would rate Tiger's chances to win the tournament as a little less than 50%.
It's just so hard to win a major, but we forget that as Tiger has made it look so easy. And even as he chases Nicklaus' 18 majors - and he should break that one day - he's won 11 in about 10 years as a professional. A great pace, but it still doesn't approach 50%, where you would have to be (or higher) to have the advantage.
But, unless there's a good Cinderella story here (Sergio or Monty's first, DiMarco in the mix again, or a likable dark horse), I'll be pulling for Tiger.

There is no doubt that you do. Tiger is good but in 12+ years he has won 11 majors. Tiger is the best in the world and might be the best ever but he only wins about 1 in 4 majors. You are a 3 to 1 favorite.
Tiger won his first major in1997 and hasn;t won the PGA since 2000 (he may be due) but he cannot be considerd an even money favorite in any major.

The way Tiger has been playing lately, you might as well concede the bet now. You should have taken a point spread or something, like Tiger has to win by 5 strokes, then you would have a chance.

I think the field has the advantage, golf just like any other sport is not played on paper - but I don't know if I would bet against Mr. Woods right now AND he won at Medinah in '99 - he will not get beaten but he may lose

The MLB desperate to alter the format to 2-3. i think of they have been afraid that with the extra wild card activity, it expenses them yet another day and the workplace is often attempting to compress the dimensions of the season pondering Spring Traning is a month long and the playoffs have a tendency to be very long besides. I dont like it however.
