I have a college entry essay test coming. I need help. any tips?

- whatever the topic is that you choose, make sure you narrow it down to the specifics
- brainstorm before writing
- freewrite
- create an outline to follow
- buy an MLA book/guide to help you with college level writing
- use transitions (make it flow from paragraph to paragraph)
- create a clear, yet strong thesis statement
- give credit to the authors' whose words you quote, if any
- proofread your final essay at least 3 times (spell check)
- make sure your conclusion mentions your thesis once more

First present to your paper very neatly without any cuttings or overwritings etc. It should be tidy so that it should attract the person who corrects your paper.
2. give subheadings for your essays in a different pen other than blue, red and green pen. probably use black pen to give the subheadings.
3. use famous quotations relating to your subject
4. underline the subheadings.

pay attention to your english teach. its a good idea. but other than that support everything. support you supports and don't plagiarize
