Cheddar is great. You can also make a cheese sauce by melting some butter in a saucepan. Then add an equal amount of flour to the pan and let it cook for a while. After that, add some milk and whisk it in. Let it come to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Add salt and white or black pepper to taste and add a pinch of nutmeg to finish. Turn the heat off and add a good melting cheese, like Swiss, Brie or Gruyere or a combination of cheeses and whisk it in until it melts. Add some Parmesan cheese to it and whisk it in. Pour over your cooked broccoli. I hope you like it. Happy cooking!

personally I like cauliflower and cheese soup much better. But I think cheddar would be good on brocoli.

I love mine with a fondue, but for an everyday side, nacho cheese love the heat , i jsut add a few slice of reg am. cheese and milk. mmm a little heat to spice up your mouth

it's kind of gross when you think about it, but the processed kind is the best (or at least my fave) on veggies like broccoli. and campbells has a can of cheese soup that's really good on stuff like this.
