There are many factual answers on Yahoo! Answers. Some people know a great deal about certain topics, and put that knowledge to good use. Others research a topic unknown to them, and find facts about that topic.
Some answers are opinions - but then, some questioners are looking for various opinions. The political and religion categories have many, many opinions - but unfortunately much hatred is sometimes included in these.

There are plenty of each. Many questions can be answered factually; others can't, and opinions are offered. The quality of the answers is highly variable. As for which predominates, it is hard to tell -- I am not about to count, and I doubt that anyone else is either. Beware the opinion that is masquerading as a fact.

And even if someone states a fact, it is still their opinion that the fact is correct.
Although you could argue that it is, in fact, people's opinions that are put on here. (Hehehe)

My opinion is that most answers are opinion. But thats just my opinion.

some of them facts (in mathematics question we can give facts answers), some of them opinion (especially in religion, etichs question)
