Stair climbers are considered Aerobic and Anerobic. For losing weight I would recommend something that you can stay on longer, such as a stationary bike or a treadmill.

You can lose weight with any machine if you use it often enough during the week.

Aside from cutting down on the fat, eat some apples. Apples among a few other foods actually have less calories in them then is required for our bodies to break them down.
