46&2: Is it OK to date a Muslim girl?
There is this girl in my class that is just so beautiful! We talk very casually but over the past year I have came to develope a huge crush on her. We are in college adn she is a Muslim. I feel that because I am a white, non-religious, american that she would not even consider going out with me! I don't even know if she can go out? I have learned about Islam, but the problem is the cultural taboo that it is (and would) for her. Are there any other Muslim girls out there who can share some input? Can you date a man who is outside the religion (I don't beleive in God). Also, a person outside of the culture? She doesn't seem very judgmental and the flirtation is there. What do you think?

i'm muslim gurl ,,,our religion says that girls are not allowed to have a relationship with a man unless they're in-gage with or married to or course... anyway but not all the muslim girls follow this,,, actually most of them are dating...but the problem is that our religion says that she can't marry some1 who isn't muslim so i don't think that she'll go out with u unless u convert,, read more about islam,,maybe you'll be interested & if u want further help or information just let me know & i'll send u links about islam.
about dating a person who's outside of the culture: it's allowed just if he's muslim,,,but the cultrue thing doesn't matter...

What do I think ? That is a hard one to answer. You have said your not religious. But you don't seem to know how she has been brought up in the Muslim faith. And It could cause many problems for both of you . She could have brothers who would not like you dating her. The family may object. Their is just so much to think about when your concedering dating out of the norm. Be prepared for almost anything. If it were me. I would shy away from that temption because of getting hurt. This is the opinion of a Muslimah! As I am relaying it for her (I am Muslim). The Muslimah says,
"a real Muslimah shouldn’t date people as it is against Islam but if she isn’t practising and she goes into that stuff she may say yes. But she shouldn’t say yes and it’s better to leave here so that she doesn’t fall into sin."
I would take this advice... it would not be good for her if she were to date you. If you truly have loving feelings you will do one of two things,
1. Study Islam, then if you feel you can be a Muslim, make Shahaada and be a good Muslim. A Muslimah chooses her husband by his degree of Taqwah. Show that you have Taqwah and then make your feelings known.
2. Leave her alone... so that she may enjoy her life as a Muslimah.

Unless you are prepared to convert to Islam, be prepared for rejection from her family. You need to be very serious in this regard, as it affects your faith. The Quran states no Muslim woman can marry a non-believer.

bro to tell u the truth keep ur distance even if she isnt religious cos the middle eastern boys dont tolerate us going out or rooting their women coz apparently there born precious and are angels so they have to protect them from dirty c*nts like us? like this lebanese c**** told me in lock up but keep ur distance mate the boys from that race/religion take it serious and get violent just like what happen to my cusn ray who was f---king a turk chick but got chopped coz of it the c----ts go crazy they dont just bash ya they stab and shoot u instead in these areas so watch out plz bro

well u asked for a muslim gurls opinion so here it is............if she is a good muslim she wont go out w u but it depends on her and how strong her religion is but tecnically she isnt supposed to u could try but dnt get ur hopes up......and about her being flirty all girls r like that even muslim gurls but it dsnt mean we like u it might b but she might just b like that with eveyone.

I'm not muslim, but I don't think their shoud be any restraints when it comes to the matters of the heart. You'r both adults you can deal come what may.
