i'm trying to write a song for my girl. if someone guy was writng something for u, what would want him to include lyric wise.

-That u wont cheat on her especially w/ her best friend
-That youll be faithful to her

my guy did write me a poem.
he worte me two actually.
one because he wnated to and the other one because i got mad at him. i'll copy some lines.

It depends on what you know about this girl and how you feel about her. Try to include her name so she knows this song is for her like the song "oh donna". (ok..that's too lame) Consider the type of music she enjoys. Does she like rock, country, fast or slow, rap, ect...Make it a fun but loving song. Make her smile with your words and after you sing it for her...give her a romantic rose and kiss and sing it in front of a big audience full of jelouse woman who would love to have a man sing to them. (and the boyfriends who are jelouse because you are sweet and are thoughtful).
I agree you should tell her things you like about her, how much you love her, maybe even tell a story of how you two met, the good memories of her loving and kindness or just the sweet way she is. (maybe she did something that you liked). good luck

Well, just the fact that he wrote any song would make me happy. (: Just tell the truth. Some stuff I would like to hear from my guy is:
-How I made him feel
-How much he loved me
-How he couldn't live without me
You know, just really cheesy stuff. lol. But seriously, really genuinely nice stuff is sure to make her feel good. Complimenting her looks is always a safe bet, but try to include some specific stuff so she knows you're really paying attention. Good luck!
